Bellamonte

Bellamonte is a hamlet of Predazzo, once called 'the hay mountain' of Val di Fiemme, due to the many meadows in the surroundings and the consequent mowing.

Today, it is a popular tourist destination immersed in largely unspoilt nature.

The attractions of Bellamonte

The sunsets over the spectacular Pale di San Martino, the mountain huts and malghe at the foot of the Dolomites, the grandiose views, as well as the many possibilities for winter and summer holidays, make this small town a true pearl of Trentino.

In winter and summer, Alpe Lusia and the Paneveggio Park...

One of Bellamonte's major attractions is the Alpe di Lusia ski resort, connecting the Val di Fassa (Moena) and the Val di Fiemme.

A few kilometres from the village, however, in the hamlet of Paneveggio, starting from the Park Visitor Centre, it is possible to walk along the botanical trail, observe the majestic deer in the nature reserve and walk on a transparent bridge and one suspended in the void.

In the village you can visit the Nonno Gustavo Museum, which collects old farming tools and period utensils.

Have you ever seen alpenglow?

Alpenglow is a phenomenon whereby most of the Dolomites, both at sunset and sunrise, turn reddish and then gradually purple in the light.
